The Domestic Sales Manager of Mobarakeh Steel Company announced the supply of 350,000 tons of various steel sheets over 13 trading sessions and emphasized that the process of supplying raw materials for the automotive and home appliance industries continues.
According to a report by the Industry and Mining Desk correspondent of IRIB News Agency, Younes Hamzevi, Domestic Sales Manager of Mobarakeh Steel Complex in Isfahan, commenting on the production status of the complex, stated: “Despite the damages inflicted on the complex’s infrastructure, through the dedication of domestic experts and careful planning, the supply of steel products on the Commodity Exchange commenced on April 27, 2025, and continues to date.”
Hamzevi, referring to 13 rounds of offering various steel products on the Commodity Exchange, added: “A total of 350,000 tons of steel sheets have been offered on the Commodity Exchange, for which approximately 272,000 tons of demand existed. In other words, a portion of Mobarakeh Steel’s offerings remained without demand.”
The Domestic Sales Manager of Mobarakeh Steel further emphasized the supply of raw materials for the automotive and home appliance industries, stating: “Effective measures have been taken to secure the raw material needs of these industries at Mobarakeh Steel Complex, and the supply of these products has been on the agenda since April 2025.”
Referring to prior agreements with the Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade, he noted: “In April of this year, 40,000 tons of cold-rolled steel sheets and 30,000 tons of hot-rolled steel sheets were offered for the country’s automotive industry, as well as 15,000 tons of cold-rolled steel sheets for the home appliance industry, all of which were traded on the Commodity Exchange.”
Hamzevi concluded by emphasizing: “The supply of various cold and hot rolled steel sheets required by automakers and the home appliance industry continues in May 2026, and transactions are currently underway.”
