18th of Dhu al-Hijjah, Eid al-Ghadir, is the greatest divine celebration and the day of completing blessing upon the Islamic Ummah. On this glorious day, the Holy Prophet (PBUH) by God’s command, appointed Imam Ali (AS) as his successor and the Master of the Faithful, thus perfecting the religion of Islam and fulfilling the divine blessing of Wilayah (guardianship) for all. Ghadir is not merely a historical event; it is God’s eternal covenant with His servants throughout history and the key to the continuity of prophethood and Imamat.
