According to the latest report from the World Steel Association (worldsteel) in 2026,\u00a0<\/span>Iran’s steel industry in 2025, despite a global 2% production decline, achieved 1.9% growth with 32 million tons of crude steel, solidifying its position among the world’s top 10 producers.<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>Mobarakeh Steel Company in Isfahan<\/span><\/strong>, with production of 10.29 million tons,\u00a0<\/span>improved its global ranking from 44th to 43rd<\/span><\/strong>, becoming a symbol of industrial resilience in the region.<\/span><\/p>\n

Global Leadership in DRI Production; A Strategic Advantage on the Green Steel Path<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

One of Iran’s most outstanding achievements, with Mobarakeh Steel as its driving force, is\u00a0<\/span>securing the world’s top rank in Direct Reduced Iron (DRI) production<\/span><\/strong>. In 2025, Iran produced 37.2 million tons of DRI, accounting for nearly one-quarter of global production of this strategic product.
